It’s that time of the year again where we all get together and enjoy cook outs, fireworks, and a good time as we celebrate our countries birthday once more. However for some, times are tough and it’s hard to find happiness even during a holiday. Here at World Class Whitetails of Ohio, we try to always maintain an upbeat approach to everything, but we are human as well and understand the hard times many are going through.
However, even though times are tough, we wanted to point out some finer points about the country we live in. We try to stay clear of politics here at WCW, but some points can’t be ignored.
Here are a few things that come immediately to mind:
- We have the right to bare and own firearms.
- Whom we marry is our personal choice.
- We can have as many children (or not) as we want.
- We can work in whatever field suits our fancy.
- We can believe in whatever religion (or none) that we want.
- We can live anywhere in the whole country that we want.
- We can travel wherever and whenever we want.
- We are free to run for any public offices we want.
- We can vote for whomever we want.
- We have an enormous choice of foods to buy.
- We have a large choice of vehicles to buy.
- We can learn whatever we want.
- We can speak our minds without retaliation.
You see, even when times are tough and there looks like there will be no relief for awhile, the good still out ways the bad. Just imagine trying to hunt when you can’t even own a firearm. Imagine being forced to marry someone not of your choosing. Imagine not being able to speak your mind without being beat or thrown into jail. That is the harsh reality for most that do not live in the USA. Be proud of where you live and have hope that the situation will improve. We have endured worse.
